CSPL 209: Introduction to Effective Local Political Action
This course introduces students to local political engagement through the City of Middletown. We’ll explore how political power works at the local level, examine the role of government and grassroots actors, and learn how everyday people — including students — can influence change. Through city meetings, guest speakers, and hands-on projects, students will develop a plan to address a political issue they care about in their own community.
